The Book That Only I Am Qualified to Write?
I got a great email today!
It came from Jeff Sauer, of PPC Mastery fame. PPC stands for Pay Per Click, and covers the realm of digital paid advertising. Think: Adwords/Google Search, remarketing, Facebook paid ads, etc.
It's big business, especially considering that it makes up the bulk of these two companies' revenue. I have mixed feelings about the state of things here and the flagrant use of our data for profit. More on that later...
Jeff is a fantastic resource for news, tips, and tricks for use in digital marketing. He dominates PPC, but also reaches into SEO, agency and freelance tactics. But this email was a little different.
He threw down the 90-day challenge.
To which I say one thing:
I'm applying my challenge to content creation and with the following criteria:
- content can be any kind of media (written, audio, video)
- content must be on track as 'authentic optimistic marketing'
- content must go out on my blog before any other channel
Perhaps I'll elaborate on the reasoning in a future post. It's marketing.
To kick things off, I have one question to ask. It's something I think would be helpful to anyone trying to figure out what to focus on, or what new endeavor they ought to pursue. Assuming you have good people supporting you, that you trust; go and ask them this one question.
Q: What is the book that only I am qualified to write?
I've got a good idea of what I personally will cover, but I'm also seeking validation from the people. Anyone out there who'd like to contribute. If you're reading this, I trust you. If you have an answer, go ahead and throw your suggestion in the comments. Or email me. Whatever feels best.
Thank you in advance. Looking forward to the next 90 days.
